My stay at The Church Village was a mixed bag. I appreciated the renovated room's cleanliness and the peaceful atmosphere, but I wasn't thrilled with the lack of comfort in the beds and the inconsistent quality of the evening meals. The buffet breakfast was decent enough, and I loved the outdoor terrace for drinks in the evening, making it a nice spot to unwind after a busy day in Rome.

I stayed in a recently renovated room, which was small but immaculate. However, the bed wasn't very comfy, impacting my sleep quality.
Service

The service in the snack bar was friendly and efficient, creating a pleasant experience. I also appreciated the helpful staff, who provided useful local info.
Location
5.0
The hotel is a bit far from central Rome, but there's a bus stop nearby that easily connects to major sites.
Dining

Breakfast offered a nice variety, but the evening meals left much to be desired. Some were inedible on certain nights, though the pasta dishes and desserts were fine.
Facilities

The outdoor terrace was lovely for relaxing, and the bar served tasty snacks. However, the lack of lift access for some rooms was inconvenient.

I had mixed feelings about my stay at The Church Village. On one hand, I appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms and the location, which was conveniently near the Vatican. However, the service left much to be desired, especially at the bar, and the dining options were limited. Overall, it was decent for a budget hotel, but I wouldn't rush back.

Rooms

My room was small and felt outdated but clean. However, I lacked air conditioning, which would have been a must during the warm weather.
Service

The staff at the reception were not very welcoming, and it was tough to get service at the bar. This lack of attentiveness made my experience less enjoyable.
Location

The hotel is situated close to the Vatican but requires a bit of travel to reach central attractions. I found it convenient for bus access but was a bit remote.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were limited and often felt uninviting. I was disappointed with the overall atmosphere and quality of the food available at the bar.

My stay at The Church Village in Rome had its highs and lows. The hotel was clean and offered a comfortable experience overall, especially the beds, which were surprisingly cozy. I appreciated the large outdoor terrace for relaxing after a day of sightseeing, but the location was a bit inconvenient, requiring frequent transport to the city center. While breakfast had some good options, including pastries and hot dishes, not everything was perfect.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were generally comfortable and clean, but I found the bathrooms a bit cramped and the shower pressure was inconsistent at times. Additionally, there were issues like cracked tiles that affected usability.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly and helpful, which made requesting information or assistance easier. However, there were times when communication was a challenge due to language barriers.
Location
5.0
Located around 5 miles from the main tourist attractions, I often found myself relying on public transport. The bus service was decent, but it made getting around more time-consuming.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast offered a variety of options including pastries and hot dishes like bacon and eggs, which were pretty good. I enjoyed the outdoor dining area, although options for lunch and dinner inside were limited unless in a group.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel had a nice outdoor terrace that was great for unwinding, and I appreciated the clean common areas. However, the lack of lifts and no iron available were downside for a place that caters to conference-goers.

My stay at The Church Village had its highlights and low points. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a decent spot to rest after busy days, yet the staff's attitude was disappointing at times. While the location was generally peaceful, I found the distance from the central attractions inconvenient. Overall, I would say it was a mixed experience. 😕

My stay at The Church Village was a mixed experience. While I appreciated the cleanliness and the decent breakfast options, the location was quite a challenge, especially with the cumbersome walk from the bus stop. The staff also had their moments, ranging from friendly to downright brusque.

The room was small but clean. Despite showing signs of wear like scuffed walls, the bathroom was unexpectedly bright and modern.

Service was hit or miss. Some staff members were friendly and accommodating, but others could be quite rude.
Location

The location was disappointing. It's not easily accessible to the city center, and the walk to nearby bus stops felt inconvenient with luggage.
